I just finished reading an interesting article by “DJ Nutritious” on mindbodygreen.com that detailed out his insane schedule and how important it is that he get high quality sleep when his erratic schedule permits. He tried “extra window shades, meditation, kava tea, earplugs, eye masks, yoga, herbs and oils” but he didn’t discover the power of green juice until a chance happening when he wasn’t able to get the drink he wanted at while on a whirlwind trip and ended up going with the green juice. His discovery was that that night his sleep was incredible and night after night he was able to repeat the experience adding a green juice 30 minutes before bed to his routine.
His tip is to stick to all green juice, no sugar, fruit juice, root veggies or broccoli.
